Natural gas
Combined heat and power (CHP) production offers the possibility of high overall energy efficiency. Using facilities for testing and demonstration of gas turbines, gas engines and other conversion technologies, development of new technology for distributed combined heat and power systems is made. The focus is on both research and development purposes, as well as demonstration of new solutions. A key challenge is the integration of CHP systems in the infrastructure for electric power and district heating.
