Sediment and hydrographical analyses
| Sediment analyses:
We offer organic and inorganic measurements, including heavy metals, compounds of nitrogen (TN) and carbon (TOC) in the sediments and biota.
Analyses are normally performed at one of our accredited co-operating laboratories and evaluated and classified by us, following standards from the Norwegian Pollution Control Authority.
|
Hydrographical analyses:
A variety of different hydrographical analyses are offered. These include biological measures such as bacterial abundance, Chlorophyll a, and secchi depth, in addition to the abiotic measures of nutrients (total phosphor, phosphate, total nitrogen and nitrate). Physical measures of conductivity, temperature and depth (using a CTD), currents and oxygen can also be provided. Bacterial abundance and nutrient contents are analysed by one of our accredited co-operating laboratories. Hydrographical data are evaluated and classified by us, following standards from the Norwegian Pollution Control Authority.
